Alexander Reuber

Alexander Reuber was born in Olpe in 1986 and received his first trumpet and piano lessons at the age of six. Growing up as a trumpeter in the local band of the Musikzug der freiwilligen Feuerwehr Olpe, after graduating from high school he spent his military service as a music soldier in the „Musikkorps der Bundeswehr Siegburg“, in which he still works today. Following his military service, he completed his studies at the renowned Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, majoring in trumpet. He graduated in June 2012 as a qualified musician.

In addition, from 2010 he studied integrative composition with a focus on instrumental composition, also at the Folkwang University. In the summer of 2010, Alexander visited Hans Zimmer at his studio complex in Los Angeles. Zimmer inspired Alexander to focus even more intensively on the composition, production and realization of his own works and projects.

His creative work now includes commissioned compositions for professional symphonic wind orchestras and symphony orchestras, as well as numerous music productions for well-known international music labels.
